NŌHIE began in our bedroom, making stickers, shirts, and hats with an iPad and a Cricut. It came from wanting things that felt different—pieces that reflected pidgin, ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, and ʻike Hawaiʻi in ways we actually wanted to wear. Everything felt the same everywhere, and we wanted something that felt like us. Today, NŌHIE is simply clothes to live in—comfortable, familiar, and made for doing life alongside family, friends, and community.
